1. Introduction

Axtiran Group ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Commit mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the App you agree to the practices described here.

Commit is a daily habit-building app. You set a goal, check in each day, and choose a motivation style — from a tough-love coach to a billionaire-founder mindset — to keep you accountable and moving forward.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account information — email address and display name when you create an account.
  • Goals & habits — the goals you set, their descriptions, and target frequencies.
  • Check-in data — daily check-in responses, notes, and mood/status you log.
  • Motivation style preference — the coaching persona you select for your goals.
  • Streak & progress data — your current and longest streaks, completion history, and milestone achievements.
  • Usage data — session events and feature interactions, collected anonymously to improve the App.
  • Device & technical data — device model, OS version, app version, and crash logs.
  • Push notification token — if you grant permission, to deliver daily check-in reminders.

We do not collect payment information. In-app purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Create and manage your account.
  • Track your daily check-ins, streaks, and goal progress.
  • Tailor motivational messages and feedback to your selected coaching style.
  • Send push notifications for daily reminders and milestone alerts (only if you opt in).
  • Analyze anonymized usage to improve App features and engagement.
  • Diagnose crashes and fix technical issues.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your data to serve third-party advertisements.

4. Motivational Content & AI

Commit may use AI-assisted content generation to produce personalized motivational messages, daily prompts, and coaching responses tailored to your chosen style and current streak. When generating this content, only anonymized context (goal type, streak length, motivation style) is used — not your name or email.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in the following circumstances:

  • Cloud infrastructure — account, goal, and check-in data are stored on secure cloud servers (e.g. Google Firebase / Firestore).
  • Analytics — anonymized session events may be shared with analytics tools to understand feature adoption.
  • Legal requirements — we may disclose information if required by law or to protect user safety.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and habit data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data is removed from our active systems within 30 days. Anonymized aggregated statistics may be retained indefinitely.

7. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
  • Object to or restrict certain types of processing.
  • Data portability — receive a copy of your data in a structured format.
  • Withdraw consent (e.g. disable push notifications in device settings).

California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know, delete, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

8. Children's Privacy

Commit is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us at commit@axtiran.group and we will delete it promptly.

9. Security

We use encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, strict access controls, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

10. International Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your country of residence. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses to protect your data.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
