Axtiran Group ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Dremiva mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using the App you agree to the practices described here.
Dremiva is a personal dream interpreter and dream journal. You record or type a dream, Dremiva turns speech into text, generates an interpretation based on your dream and a short context you provide during onboarding, and saves the result to a journal on your phone. Dremiva has no accounts, no login and no Dremiva server that stores your dreams. Your dream journal lives on your device only.
We collect nothing on our own servers. There is no Dremiva backend, no user account and no analytics inside the App. We never receive your dreams, your transcripts or your interpretations.
The App does not ask for and does not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, health data, advertising identifier or payment information.
Dremiva stores the following inside its own private app storage on your phone:
This data is written to the App's private storage area and is not uploaded to any Dremiva server.
Dremiva asks for microphone access only so you can speak a dream instead of typing it. Recording starts only when you tap the record button and stops when you tap stop or discard.
The recording is sent to the transcription service described in section 5. Once the transcript comes back, the local audio file is deleted from your device. Dremiva does not keep an audio archive.
If you deny microphone access, the App still works — you can write your dream by hand.
When you record a dream, the audio file is sent to AssemblyAI (assemblyai.com) so it can be converted to text. Only the audio is sent — no onboarding answers, no dream history and no device identifiers.
To generate an interpretation, Dremiva sends OpenAI (openai.com) the dream text and your onboarding context (age range, occupation / life status, current life focus).
For the "based on your previous dreams" insight and for Ask Your Dreams, Dremiva additionally sends relevant previously saved dreams and their extracted metadata, so the answer can take your history into account.
Your name, email, contacts, location and device identifiers are never sent, because Dremiva never collects them.
Speech-to-text is required to turn a spoken dream into an editable transcript. The dream text and your context are required to produce a personal interpretation rather than a generic dream-dictionary lookup. Nothing is processed for advertising or profiling.
AssemblyAI and OpenAI process the content you send under their own privacy policies and API data-usage terms. Please review their policies at assemblyai.com and openai.com. Dremiva has no control over their retention periods.
Beyond these two processing services, the App contains no advertising network and no third-party tracking SDK.
Before the first dream is processed, Dremiva asks for explicit consent to send audio to AssemblyAI and dream text to OpenAI. Without consent, no dream and no audio is sent anywhere.
You can withdraw that consent at any time by using Delete All Data in the menu, which resets your consent state. Dremiva will ask again before the next dream is processed.
Locally stored data stays on your device until you delete it. You are always in control:
We do not sell, rent, trade or share any user data, because we never receive any. Content you choose to process is transmitted only to AssemblyAI and OpenAI for the sole purpose of transcription and interpretation.
Dremiva does not track you across other apps or websites and does not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA).
Because we do not collect personal data, there is no personal data held by us to access, correct, export or delete. All data lives on your device and can be deleted at any time as described in section 10.
Residents of the EU/EEA and the UK (GDPR) and of California (CCPA/CPRA) have rights over their personal data. As we are not a data controller or processor for any of your stored content, and do not sell or share personal information, these rights are satisfied by our data-minimal design and by the in-app deletion controls.
You can change or revoke microphone permission at any time in your device settings.
Dremiva is intended for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13. Because no personal information is collected at all, the App complies with COPPA (USA) and equivalent laws in other countries.
Dream interpretations are reflective and speculative. They are not facts, predictions, or medical or psychological diagnoses, and should not be used as a substitute for professional advice.
Your journal never leaves your phone, so there is no server that could be breached. On-device data is protected by platform app sandboxing and by the device encryption that applies when your phone is locked. Requests to AssemblyAI and OpenAI are sent over encrypted HTTPS connections. We encourage you to keep your device and the App updated.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
