Axtiran Group ("we", "our", or "us") operates the MicroLearn AI mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the App you agree to the practices described here.

MicroLearn AI is an AI-powered microlearning platform that delivers personalized five-minute lessons, tracks learning progress, and generates content tailored to your interests and goals.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information — email address and display name when you create an account.
• Learning data — topics you choose, lessons you complete, learning paths, quiz results, streaks, and XP points.
• Content preferences — subjects, skill levels, and goals you set to personalize your feed.
• AI interaction data — prompts and inputs submitted to generate personalized lessons. These are processed by our AI provider to produce lesson content.
• Usage data — session duration, features used, and in-app events (e.g. lesson started, streak achieved). Collected to improve the App.
• Device & technical data — device type, operating system version, app version, and crash logs, used solely for stability and debugging.
• Push notification token — if you grant permission, to send streak reminders and lesson notifications.

We do not collect payment information directly. Any in-app purchases are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play and governed by their respective privacy policies.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account.
• Personalize AI-generated lessons, learning paths, and book insights to your interests and progress.
• Calculate and display streaks, XP, and learning statistics.
• Send push notifications about your learning schedule and streak milestones (only if you opt in).
• Analyze aggregated, anonymized usage to improve lesson quality and App features.
• Diagnose crashes and fix technical issues.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your data to serve third-party advertisements.

4. AI-Generated Content

MicroLearn AI uses large language model (LLM) services to generate lesson content. When you request a lesson or set a learning preference, relevant context (such as topic, level, and goals) is sent to our AI provider. We do not send your name, email, or other directly identifying information to AI providers. AI providers process inputs to generate text and may store inputs temporarily for safety and quality purposes under their own privacy policies.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in the following circumstances:

• AI provider — anonymized lesson prompts are sent to our AI infrastructure partner to generate content.
• Analytics — anonymized usage events may be shared with analytics tools (e.g. Firebase Analytics) to understand feature adoption.
• Cloud infrastructure — your account and progress data are stored on secure cloud servers (e.g. Google Firebase / Firestore).
• Legal requirements — we may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

All third-party partners are contractually required to protect your data and use it only for the services they provide to us.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and learning data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed from our active systems within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain certain records. Anonymized, aggregated statistics may be retained indefinitely as they cannot identify you.

7. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Object to or restrict certain types of processing.
• Data portability — receive a copy of your data in a structured format.
• Withdraw consent at any time (e.g. disable push notifications in device settings).

8. Children's Privacy

MicroLearn AI is intended for users aged 13 and older (or 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at microlearn@axtiran.group and we will delete it promptly.

9. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. International Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your country of residence. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses to ensure your data is protected.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you within the App. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
