Axtiran Group ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Scrini mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using the App you agree to the practices described here.
Scrini is a screenshot organizer for iPhone. It finds the screenshots in your photo library, analyzes them on your device, suggests a tag describing why you probably saved each one, and gives you a second gallery organized by those tags. Scrini has no user accounts, no servers, and no analytics.
We collect nothing. Scrini does not transmit any information to us or to any third party. There is no backend to receive it.
The App does not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, health data, advertising identifier, or payment information.
Scrini asks for access to your photo library so it can find screenshots. This permission is used only to read screenshots and display them inside the App.
When Scrini finds a screenshot it has not seen before, it loads the image from Apple Photos and analyzes it using Apple frameworks that run entirely on your iPhone:
No screenshot, no recognized text and no tag ever leaves your device for this analysis. Scrini does not use OpenAI, Google, Anthropic or any other external AI service.
If Apple Intelligence is unavailable on your device or turned off, Scrini keeps importing and organizing screenshots and you simply choose the tags yourself.
Scrini stores the following inside its own private app container on your iPhone:
This data is never transmitted off the device.
Notifications are optional. If you allow them, Scrini sends a local notification with the suggested tag for a new screenshot so you can confirm it with one tap. These notifications are generated on your device — there is no push server involved.
If you decline notifications, screenshot processing continues and pending suggestions simply wait for you inside the App.
Scrini exposes an action ("Analyze New Screenshots") to the iOS Shortcuts app so that a personal automation can run it when a screenshot is saved. You create and control that automation yourself in Shortcuts — Scrini cannot create, modify or read your other automations.
None. The App contains no analytics SDK, no crash reporting service, no advertising network, and no third-party libraries of any kind. It uses only frameworks provided by Apple as part of iOS.
We do not sell, rent, trade or share any user data, because we never receive any. There is no data in our possession that could be disclosed to anyone, including in response to a legal request.
Scrini does not track you across other apps or websites, does not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA), and does not present the App Tracking Transparency prompt because it has nothing to track.
Scrini keeps the on-device data described in section 5 until you remove it. You are always in control:
Because we do not collect personal data, there is no personal data held by us to access, correct, export or delete. All data lives on your device and can be deleted at any time as described above.
Residents of the EU/EEA and the UK (GDPR) and of California (CCPA/CPRA) have rights over their personal data. As we are not a data controller or processor for any of your information, and do not sell or share personal information, these rights are satisfied by our data-minimal design.
You can change or revoke Photos and notification permissions at any time in iOS Settings → Scrini.
Scrini is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13. Because no personal information is collected at all, the App complies with COPPA (USA) and equivalent laws in other countries.
Your data never leaves your iPhone, so there is no transmission to intercept and no server that could be breached. On-device data is protected by iOS app sandboxing and the device encryption that applies when your iPhone is locked with a passcode, Face ID or Touch ID. We encourage you to keep your device and the App updated.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
